Basta Family in Rwanda

Welcome to Basta's Family, My name is Samuel. My wife is Abir, and we have a son, Daniel. We are from Egypt. From the moment my wife and I married, we felt certain the Lord had a plan for our lives. Our early years presented significant challenges, particularly as we navigated a multitude of cultural differences. Yet, the Lord strategically used these to profoundly shape our character, drawing us closer to His image.
One profound miracle in our journey has been the implanting of a sincere desire to serve Him. Though missionary work was far from our initial intentions, we embarked on a faith walk where God demonstrated that He alone is sufficient, and true joy is found exclusively in Him. Mission was not our original plan, but it was His divine purpose for us. After working in our hearts, He generously bestowed upon us the love and passion required to fulfil this calling.
The preparation for mission work began in 2017, and the divine call became undeniably clear in April 2024. We arrived in Rwanda in July 2024 to be responsible for a mission school. However, God began to open our eyes to the immense need within the churches every time we visited one.
